• Many of our students have gained places at B.O.A; the new Performing Arts Academy in Birmingham
• A former pupil, Kate Emma Portlock, having played the lead in “Dirty Dancing”, has now retrained to be a Fitness Instructor
• Another former pupil, Hannah Job, has appeared on TV a number of times, one with Chris Brown; and had a leading part in a series called "Coming of Age". She has also appeared in a number of advertisements
• Lorna Dawson (daughter of the Principal) has performed in many musicals, in Germany and Austria; and is currently based in Vienna, in a role of Dance Captain and assistant choreographer
• Broadway DC, has provided dancers who've appeared in various TV shows, advertisements, the X-Factor and the Olympics 2012 opening ceremony
On other matters:
• Dancers from Broadway DC, appear in the N.I.A each year, in the Birmingham International Tattoo; which is quite a spectacular event; and has been going for 25 years. This has been a great honour.
• Some former pupils have opened their own Dance Studios'; and have been very successful. We wish them well.
• For the past 25 years, Frances has been taking aid and dance to Romania; and has now created six dance studios, and two outside playgrounds for the children and orphans of the country. They love it; as does Fran!
You can enjoy your dance classes in our beautiful purpose built studio with a maple sprung floor, acclaimed as the best in the Midlands. Our mirrored walls will give you the best chance of improving your dancing and we have our own spacious car park available for your convenience.
Dancing is thirsty work, so afterwards you can also enjoy a tipple or a tea at our fully licensed bar, which serves a variety of refreshments.
